We promise to ensure that your child will have an enriching and memorable camp experience. Our camp is a 11-week program with many flexible scheduling options.
Below is an explanation of our different components that make up what promises to be an incredible camp experience for you and your child!
Weekly ThemesEach week is designed around special themes and activities involving the whole camp. During the camp season, you will receive notices about our upcoming camp activities, as well as a review of the past week.
- White Pines Productions will be our Artist in Residence this summer and will be producing and directing our Beatles-themed Camp Show!
- Action Karate—this year a Sensi will teach us the Art of Karate.
- Kathy McCoy and Elizabeth McGoren from the Elkins Park Library will be coming throughout the summer for story time.
We will have our Pre-Shabbat program every Friday morning this summer.
SnackA snack will be provided each morning and afternoon. Snacks will include fruits, vegetables, or crackers and a drink. Water will be available for the children throughout the day.
SportsOur sports program will emphasize growing self-esteem, skill development and games. Our younger children will loosen their limbs and improve their coordination with hoola-hoops, parachutes, Nerf ball activities, musical gym games and beginner team sports. The older campers will be working their muscles while learning fundamentals of T-ball, soccer, basketball and Newcomb. They will also have fun with beach balls, hoola hoops, jump ropes and parachutes. And that is only the beginning!
Water Play Wonderland!Campers are scheduled to have fun and interactive water play throughout the week! We have our own personalized "kid washes" that the children love to run through on a hot, sunny day! We will also have other fun water activities for the children, including sprinklers, hoses, water tables, and much more!
Every Friday we will be having our Pre-Shabbat program and camp kumsitz (sing-a-long).
